Seaside Motel

Motel is in a beach city right next to Redondo beach and hermosa beach. The room rates are reasonable for this area! There is self serve guest laundry as well as ice and vending at this motel! Inside the room you get a Samsung flat screen TV, microwave, refrigerator, ironing amenities, luggage rack, hair dryer, complimentary toiletries, mini dining table with chairs, complimentary WiFi and remote controlled air conditioning! Please be aware motel charges $50 deposit at check in! They don’t have recreational facilities like gym or swimming pool!

We stayed here for two nights as a couple in our 30s, flying out the next day. The price was reasonable and the room itself was quite large, but unfortunately our experience was very disappointing. The room had several cleanliness issues. Both the towels and the bed had visible stains. The AC unit was extremely loud, even on the lowest setting, making it very difficult to sleep. The fridge was equally disruptive, cycling loudly and making a popping noise every time it shut off. While the pillows were surprisingly decent, the constant noise from the appliances made for an uncomfortable stay. Despite being extremely quiet guests (we were asleep for much of the day due to our travel schedule and barely spent 12 hours total in the room over two days), the owner came stomping up the stairs and yelled at us at 8 p.m., blaming us for a noise complaint. It was upsetting and unprofessional. There had been noticeable banging noises from another part of the property the night before, but there was absolutely none from our room. In all my years of traveling I have never received a complaint about being loud until this stay. Overall, if you are looking for a budget option and do not mind a very loud environment or potentially rude interactions, this place could work. Otherwise, I would recommend looking elsewhere.

Not wanting to battle rush hour traffic twice a day, this motel was close to a shoot and staying there gave me another four hours to work each day. The motel is convenient walking distance to a nice Mexican restaurant and Carl’s Jr. upon check in, I was warmly greeted by the owner. My room was spotless and serviced daily. Everything I needed was provided(see photos)- including a couple bottles of water upon arrival. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The surrounding area was pleasant. Parking can be tight when the property is full. If I have work nearby, I’ll certainly return.
