I had the pleasure of visiting the Best Western Redwood City and mostly want to take the time to compliment Nelson, who greeted me with excellent customer service...overall, one of the best check-in and greeting experiences I’ve had in awhile! With all due respect to the Best Western chain, I believe Nelson should be working at a Ritz Carlton or similar property, not a suburban lodge along El Camino. In any case, he was helpful sorting out my reservation, giving advice for what to do in the region (and best travel options to the airport, including a direct SamTrans bus to SFO for $2.50), and suggesting a good restaurant nearby. The hotel is simple enough, but it is conveniently located along El Camino, the main thoroughfare along the Peninsula, with lots of good restaurants a few blocks away on Middlefield Road. This hotel also serves continental breakfast. I wouldn’t hesitate to suggest the Best Western Redwood City. Thanks for the friendly, warm, and helpful customer service, Nelson!

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. They have hardwood floors so you don’t have the smell of carpet as soon as you enter the room. My second stay at this hotel and it’s always very clean. The staff is excellent and the food is awesome. The breakfast has great sanitary standards. The utensils are sealed and you get individual containers of drinks.

I was fortunate to have a very updated and new room on the ground floor as I requested. The breakfast was appropriate, and the staff was very considerate. I came down with a migraine and they were very understanding of my circumstance and provided a bag for ice, and extra towels. However, there was no hot tub poor pool. I purposely choose properties with a pool and, most often, in hot tub as well.
