Best Western Plus Med Park Inn & Suites

I was accompanying friends with physical challenges to appointments at UC Davis Medical. We stayed at the Med Park because it was close to the clinic where they had appointments. It's a clean, comfortable hotel that provides all the basics and is very quiet - so important when you're stressed out about medical issues. Beds were very comfortable. My room had a single king bed and a patio with table and chairs outside. not all rooms have patios, so ask when you reserve, if you want one. Handicapped-accessible rooms are available and my friends had no complaints about theirs. The front desk person was helpful and kind. The breakfast was perfectly adequate and had make-you-own waffles, as well as fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, boiled eggs, packaged pastries and bread for toast. Coffee was good. There is a pleasant, leafy neighborhood just behind the hotel, good for short walks. The only drawback is that my friend who was doing the driving found the parking garage a bit tight and a little difficult to navigate. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Sacramento for medical or business purposes, or who just wants a good night's sleep.

Clean, comfortable & walking distance to the hospital. A family member was a sudden patient at UC Davis and Suraz bent over backwards to help us with last-minute bookings and the chaos of not knowing when we were checking out. Suraz even stood outside at midnight on a Saturday night and waved me in because I am unfamiliar with Sacramento and was confused as to where the hotel was on top of being extremely stressed. Thank you!

A horrible experience. A gross, old hotel with terrible staff and management. It is especially disappointing, given the community they serve. After a challenging day attending to family at the hospital, it would be nice to come back to a welcoming place where you could actually get some comfort and sleep. Please go elsewhere.
