Holiday Inn Express & Suites Elk Grove East

My dress was stolen. I left it by mistake. As I was leaving, the housekeeper looked at me like she was upset. I called to pick it up but didn't get it back. It was a name-brand dress as well. I know for a fact I left it on the bed. If you stay in this hotel and your things are not “found” or go “missing” it’s their staff.

I almost didn't stay here due to the bad reviews, but my husband and I were very happy with this hotel for the one night we needed it during a road trip. The room was big, comfortable, and quiet. Antoine at the front desk was very helpful. And we were able to walk to get our dinner at a nearby restaurant. The morning breakfast was nice as well. We would stay here again.

Location was good & close to major shops & stores. Easy access to freeways. Hotel was nice & clean. Requested a room on a higher floor away from noise & was granted. Room was clean & well equipped. A little outdated but nothing to complain about. Shutter window coverings instead of curtains led to some light from the parking lot to enter. Occupants upstairs were a bit heavy footed but didn’t interfere with sleep. Breakfast was until 10am that’s good for late risers. Food was good with several options. Hotel employees were courteous & professional. I would recommend this hotel to others.
