First the good- the rooms are nicely appointed and the beds are comfortable, but that's it. Then the bad -the room was small and had a bad smell. This is a small hotel that seems to be owned by an investment corporation and to save money it did not invest in experienced management and maintenance staff. The night I arrived the cable tv was out. I was told that they were going to get it fixed, but the next day it was still out and stayed out for my two night stay. The refrigerator in the room was not cold enough and it couldn't be adjusted. And the public water cooler, which was supposed to provide cold filtered water, was broken so the water came out warm/hot. I told the front desk about all of this the first night but none of it was fixed.

I needed a place to stay and knew I wouldn't be spending much time in my room so I didn't let the small size and lack of windows bother me too terribly much. The largest window looked out onto the lovely atrium and the guest walkways. The other two looked into a wall. The hotel is charming and the room felt less coffin like and more cozy. The second floor indoor atrium courtyard is really charming and has coffee. There is no breakfast. I felt very safe there and my car seemed safe in the garage. I got there early to ensure I got a spot and then bummed rides the entire time. No way was I losing my $15 spot. So as everyone else mentioned, you might not get a parking spot. The room was very clean and away from the elevator so that was a win! However, had I been more pervy, I might have enjoyed the couple who copulated and midnight and again at 6 am. But I didn't enjoy it and now I'm very tired as I write this. Not even earplugs prevented the creaking bed from invading my consciousness. Apparently, the street side is not any better. I liked that I got a government discount. Staff was nice enough- nothing outstanding. It was either this place or an utterly soulless Fairfield Inn near the freeway. I'm really not sure what I will do next time.

The place was nice and comfortable. Slept pretty well. The heater can be a little loud. There is hot coffee in the common area 24/7. They don’t serve breakfast and you need to pay $15 to park inside. There is an elevator. They could not accommodate handicap accessibility.
