Motel 6 Sacramento West

We were in the Sacramento area for an event. First check in employee was not very friendly speaking in a very low voice and no eye contact. We check in at 3 pm in Room 113 and left to the event. On our return I entered the bathroom turned on the light and there was a cockroach on the sink. Since it was very late we decided to stay but left as soon as possible in the morning. Upon leaving in the morning I requested a receipt for the room and was treated the same at check in.

I cannot express how deeply disappointed I am with my recent experience at this establishment. What should have been a simple situation turned into an unnecessarily traumatic ordeal that has permanently tarnished my view of this business. During a family emergency, I needed to help my sister move her belongings out of the motel she had booked. Despite having paid for the entire stay a week in advance, we were met with shocking hostility from the manager. The level of customer service was abysmal. The manager displayed zero empathy for our urgent family situation and instead created additional stress during an already difficult time. When attempting to assist my sister, we were treated with suspicion and aggression—as if we were trying to deceive them in some way. In 2025, there are countless secure methods to verify identity, yet the manager seemed more interested in confrontation than finding solutions. Most disturbing was when they began shouting at my sister about payment, even though the room was fully paid for in advance. This kind of unprofessional behavior is completely unacceptable. We even told them they could keep the remaining payment despite our early departure, yet this did nothing to improve their demeanor or treatment of us. The entire experience left me feeling disrespected and mistreated. I strongly advise anyone considering this motel to look elsewhere for accommodation. There are plenty of other establishments that understand the basics of customer service and human decency. Zero stars. Avoid at all costs.

Stay away ASAP don’t say you wasn’t warned! I found so much dirt and spiders and ants Crawling on me! The location is just far from everything and very hard to find if you order food. You guys stay away! I’m gonna add a photo of the person that you don’t want to meet in the middle of night in this hotel. The most scariest meanest person that I’ve ever met. I was trying to extend another day after sleeping there for three days and the scary guy told me that once I extend I need to check in at 3 o’clock. What is the reason for me to wait until 3 o’clock when I’m already in the room? He’s obviously a mean person he shouldn’t be at the front, the last person that you wanna see. No hello no smile no kindness. Just mean. YOUR MONEY WORTH SO MUCH MORE.
