the super nice front desk person was able to move us to a handicap accessible room. We stayed for 4 nights. Room was clean and smelled nice and fresh. Shower was Awesome! Lots of water pressure and hot water. Since it was handicapped accessible there was no tub or ledge so water went all over the bathroom floor. Nice makeup area But no lights over it. Full length mirror but it was hung down to far to even do any good. Would have Loved to have had dressers to put clothes in! Instead there was just a little area to hang a few shirts. Had to battle a few flying roaches 🤮

I wasn’t real sure about this place when I pulled up, but I will definitely stay at this Motel 6 again. The highlights: a nicely sized room, comfy room with a nice little dining area and good TV, two areas to attend to doggie needs, and good morning cup of coffee, Wolfgang Puck brand, which I have enjoyed at much pricier hotels. The front desk staff was very friendly, and available to help. The downers: summer rates are pretty high, the housekeeping was spotty - there were two fish hooks in my room when I arrived, one on a table and the other in the bathroom. I had asked for a first floor room in my online reservation request, but 30 minutes before my arrival, I was called by the desk clerk who asked if I still intended to use my reservation and whether I wanted a first or second floor room. When I told her I needed first floor, she said, “Oh, I better change you room then, I had you on the second floor.” So, while I appreciated the phone call to confirm things, I felt that attention was really not being paid to the DETAILS. The hot and cold water taps in the bathroom sink were reversed - not good given the fact the water is extremely hot. Lastly, the dog area on the back of the building is kind of nasty - broken chairs, trash, beer cans on the ground. This type of area makes the property as a whole look bad and a little unsafe. I saw a guy park back there, get out of his car, leave a beer can behind, get back in the car and drive off rapidly. Not good.

I went to check in on Sept. 6th and your very young clerk scanned my ID, from another state, and said he can't take it because it had a DMV change of address sticker on it, with the bar code. He said sorry, no. I tore off the sticker and still didn't work. I said make a copy, he said can't do that. Wanted to slap him, but then he just wrote down my info and said thanks... WTF?
Then room had hair on the sink, elementary school patch work on the walls, no iron/ironing board (I asked a housekeeper, but she didn’t speak English, and just walked away), and the bed shifted when you sat on it. Then the TV didn't work, same clerk came over and spent 5 mins. pressing the remote, then said he'll go get another remote. He comes back and I asked him to move to another room... he smiled and said we can't do that. I asked why? He said we don't do that. I said do it because I’m not paying for this room. He smiled and handed me the remote and shook his head no (TV wasn’t fixed), and left. After 15 mins. I got the TV to work by taping a wire to the cable box. And to top it off, they installed a 1980's bottle opener on the bathroom sink... WTF?
The only good thing was in the morning, a maint. guy smiled and said good morning. I know it's a lower end hotel, yet train some people to not be such idiots and make sure they speak English!... customer service is what hotels are about, I spent 16 years working in one.
Stay clear of this one and all the other Motel 6’s!
