Easy in and out access. Ocean view for those who care. Reliable BW breakfast service with hot offerings. In room coffee. Internet and breakfast were fine. Room was clean and quiet. Several dining venues within walking distance. I wasn't there for pleasure, but venue is very convenient for the Liberty Station arts district with an interesting food court and many fine arts venus to explore. If I a go back for an arts visit (not a boring business conference) I would definitely consider another stay here. San Diego is a pretty busy town with lots of nonstop traffic. This location is close enough to amenities to be very convenient to commerce and attractions, but on a quiet enough street that you feel you're away from the density and urbanity.

Rooms were spacious and clean. We were pleasantly surprised that our room was ready when we showed up early. I didn’t use the pool but I could see it from my room. It looked clean and well cared for. There were several restaurants just across the street. Convenient to the airport.

Good bang for your buck. I stayed two nights in July. The location, breakfast, pool and free parking are strong points of this property. The breakfast had several hot (eggs, bacon, sausage patties, sausage gravy potatoes) and cold options and was well attended by the staff. The temperature of the hot items both days was border-line cold and could be improved, however I loved that they have the weekly breakfast menu posted near the breakfast room. Breakfast was very busy both days of my stay in July but still everything was stocked and cleaned adequately. The pool area is nice size and has a fun location near the front of the hotel. Unfortunately the hot tub was out of order on our second night. I understand that things break down but it was disappointing as we used it the first night and hoped to our second night. Our room had a balcony which is a major plus for me. The beds were fine, the TV was very good and the shower was also fine with no issues for a hotel of this type. One area to improve upon would be front desk staff friendliness and helpfulness. During our stay a couple of different front desk employees were not friendly with our questions about the local area while a couple of staff members were excellent. The local area around the hotel is fun with a variety of options to dine. The price on rooms can fluctuate greatly but at the right price with the amenities I mentioned this is a great bang for your buck.
