Grand Hyatt San Diego

We always wanted to see the Fireworks on July 4th from Hyatt. The view was perfect and we were able to see all three+ fireworks displayed. The location is perfect for walking everywhere in the area to include Seaport Village, Downtown etc....The Restaurants in the area are excellent too. I highly recommend Hyatt Manchester Grand in SD Downtown.

Location is amazing, right in the heart of San Diego adjacent to Seaport Village. Hotel staff are friendly, professional and made me feel welcome. Thank you for understanding what "hospitality" means. Would absolutely stay here again.

We had high hopes for this hotel, but it ended up being a huge pain. We came for a conference. I got food poisoning from eating at the pool bar or hotel lobby bar and couldn't present at the conference, later had to go to the ER. Only one pool was open, and while front desk employee told us there was a hot tub, we soon discovered there was not. Bad communication between staff, and, obviously, problems with the food.
