Howard Johnson Inn San Diego State University Area

No hot water, at 4:30 am when you need to go to work.terrible.also no towels ( bath towels) and no phone in the room to call front desk , talked to front desk lady about the problem she handle me a card to call later.

My family is currently (Nov. 13, 2021) at this Inn and so far our experience has been so-so. Although the room was clean and nicely decorated, we were disappointed with the shower pressure or lack of it and the super cold swimming pool. My child started shivering once in the water, even though the temp outside was 80 degree, to the point where his teeth chatter. Also, no breakfast as advertised but we still had to pay the same rate. The artificial patches of grass looks so bad (cheap), poorly installed and maintained. This is definitely a 2 or 3 out of 5 star motel/Inn.

There was no breakfast although it was mentioned that it has. There were some homeless / strange people outside of the hotel. The most interesting thing was that the hotel offers an ice maker for free!
