SAN DIEGO MARRIOTT GASLAMP QUA

The Marriott Gas Lamp has a great location in relation to downtown, the stadium, and the convention center. The hotel itself was clean, and comfortable to explore. The lobby was a touch small, but I don’t personally hang in the lobby very much anyhow. If you have access, the lounge is decent, but the evening service is meager at best. Since this is a complementary service for those with access, I did not give it too much weight, but a great lounge can make a stay too notch! The front desk folks were nice enough, but kind of just there. They greet you, check you in, and send you on your way; nothing over the top, or too helpful.

Can’t beat the location! The hotel is right next to the stadium and across from the convention center. Lots of great restaurants close by. Overall, we had a decent stay. Good things: - friendly staff - location - clean - refrigerator in room - great water pressure in the shower - comfy beds Not so good things: - if you’re noise-sensitive, this may not be the place for you. It’s not the hotel’s fault, but it’s REALLY noisy until REALLY late at night. We were on quite a high level and it was difficult to sleep. - lack of charging near the bed for devices - having to pay $10/day for WiFi unless you’re a Bonvoy member is insanity in 2026. Rip off. - $68/day parking is ridiculous

Very busy with the Dodgers in town for a baseball game, but the staff was very attentive.
