I booked 5 nights but I got out after 1 night.I regularly stay in Redwood City 10-11 nights a month for work. I though I would save $35-$40 a night as I normally stay at the hotel across town at the Bair Island area of Redwood City. The place overall is not clean as there are many noticeable stains all over the carpets. When I got to the room you could tell they tried to cover up the smell of smoke in the bathroom and living area. Carpet dirty looking, found crumbs on the chair and a long hair on the bed. As the night went on I knew I had to get out. Every time I used the bathroom I noticed the air smelled like smoke, even outside the room in the hall the air smelled bad. The only positive was the fridge is big and the bed was more comfortable than sleeping in my car. By far the worst motel experience I’ve ever had.

I stayed at this hotel for a few nights for business. It's clean and quiet. The office is closed by middle of the evening, so late night checkin requires you ringing for help. The receptionist was quick to get to the window but took a little while to check me in. The room itself was reasonably sized and clean. They sometimes leave the windows open, so just make sure you check or the train is more likely to wake you up in the morning.
Note there is no safe in the rooms.
Breakfast was what you might expect in covid times at a comfort inn. There is commercially made sausage egg sandwiches available as "hot" food, otherwise microwave food. It's easy enough to grab and go or grab and eat in your room.
It's walkable to downtown Redwood city - maybe like a 10-15 minute walk.

This is a gem of a hotel, walking distance from so much. The staff made check-in easy and welcoming. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Excellent mattress and pillows. They have a lovely outdoor pool with beautiful tiles.
It would be nice to have bins for recyclables. I'd rather the coffee be organic and fair trade, but having a coffee maker and fridge in the room were nice added conveniences.
