Hampton Inn & Suites San Francisco-Burlingame-Airport South

Stayed here for business when nearby hotels jacked their rates up for events in the city. Very clean room and bathroom has been updated. In response to other reviews, YES there are blackout curtains Behind the sheer curtains. Wall thermostat is not connected to the room heater/air conditioner. Rooms were very quiet. This is a 4 story hotel so not as busy/crazy as the Marriott across the street. Parking fees daily but I didn’t have a car. The airport shuttle is slower than nearby hotels as it also services 3 other hotels and this takes awhile before it shows up at the airport. I walked across the street to the Marriott one time as theirs runs every 10 mins or so. All in all a very nice stay and I prefer the slower pace over the Marriott across the street, which is very busy all of the time.

We stayed here after our flight got changed so it was a last minute decision. It’s very convenient for the airport and the front desk staff at check in and in the morning were both great and helpful. There is a free shuttle in the morning which worked great for us. The rooms though are badly in need of a refresh, the furniture was dated and the bed was lumpy. It was fine for one night but I wouldn’t want to stay a lot longer.
