This being the last week of June 2026, I wanted to end PRIDE Month with a little luxury and relaxation, and that’s exactly what I found. From the moment I checked in, I was immediately greeted by Kathryn and Jay. They made me feel welcomed right away, almost as if I was already a returning guest. Their genuine hospitality set the tone for my entire stay. I booked the standard queen room, and it was cute, modern, comfortable, and tastefully decorated with antique-style furniture and linens. The bathroom included complimentary toiletries, which I thought was a nice touch. It was bright, clean, and yes, the toilet paper was actually soft. If you know, you know. My only small critique was that the hot water was only a little above lukewarm for my liking. That said, the water pressure was great, the towels were fresh, and it certainly didn’t take away from my overall experience. Now for the best part of my room…the bed. I have to say, I slept so comfortably that I actually ended up checking out late because I didn’t want to get out of it. That’s probably one of the best compliments I can give any hotel. I also recommend treating yourself to breakfast. It starts at 7:00 a.m., which is when I headed into the restaurant. It wasn’t crowded at all, making for a peaceful start to the morning. I began with a cup of coffee and a Portuguese donut before ordering the traditional breakfast with poached eggs, linguisa, sausage, sweet potatoes, and sourdough toast. Everything was delicious, fresh, and well worth the price for the generous portions. If you’re looking to escape for a relaxing getaway that feels like luxury without being far from home, I highly recommend giving this hotel a try. From the warm hospitality to the comfortable accommodations and delicious breakfast, my stay exceeded my expectations. I’m certainly glad I chose to stay here, and I have a feeling you will be too.
