The location is great and they have a bar/restaurant downstairs that seemed nice and that’s where the “greatness” comes to a full stop. I don’t know what kind of photographic magic they’re doing on their website, but the rooms are horrendous! The room we got was on the second floor and it was literally 100 square feet. You could barely move around the room. The bathroom sink was in the BEDROOM! Yes, you read that right. IN THE BEDROOM! The soap had been used and had dirt and dried bubbles on it from the last person that used the room. There was no Kleenex and the extra toilet paper was located under the sink IN THE BEDROOM! There’s NO air conditioning and when we walked in the room it was stifling. Had to use the ceiling fan to blow hot air around the room. There was a window — it looked out to a literal wall and vents. There was no screen and the space between the wall and window looked like a perfect alleyway for rats. Not to mention, the vents were covered in dirt/dust so I didn’t want to risk dirt, dust, rats entering from the window. We could hear everything happening in the hallway and it was disruptive. Paid over $300 for the room on a Tuesday night and we actually left to see the Giants game three hours after checking in and never went back. Lost my $300 and didn’t think twice about it because the room was so atrocious. I literally can’t believe there aren’t worse reviews out there because this hotel was NOT IT! Don’t bother. Take your money and go elsewhere.

Not particularly cheap and no frills. It’s bizarrely hot in the rooms but the fan works well and it’s a decent shower. Great location next to Union Square.
