North Bay Inn

***THIS HOTEL HAS BEDBUGS EVERYWHERE**** I had an extended stay (almost 2 months) with this hotel and found everyone kind and easy going. Unfortunately, I was bitten by bed bugs and had the room reviewed. There unfortunately is a major pest problem. I was bitten repeatedly from my face to my feet, I have multiple videos of the bed bugs, and bite marks, and suffered quite a bit during my surgery recovery. I was immobile for the most part. I wanted to politely get a refund/partial refund, end the reservation earlier, leave, , and sweep it under the rug. However, the hotel only offered to refund me the remaining unused nights, offering no real restitution for the damages caused by a bed bug issue I didn’t deserve. That isn’t right. I now have to spend additional money on my bruises, clothes/items for bedbug care, and uproot myself after 2 surgeries just to avoid being destroyed by pests. They blamed me the entire time - as if I brought the bugs. I however came to the hotel with 3 people. Now, I have to post the truth on all platforms in order to prevent people going through what I did. I truly hate doing this, as it affects small businesses- however integrity is everything. A business acting dishonorably shouldn’t be protected.

Small hotel with few rooms but very good value for money. That’s why I put it very well. Room clean and cleaned every day even with personalized tissues. The room is spacious and you feel good there. On the other hand, the breakfast is included, go your way

The room I stayed in had bed bugs. I had bite marks on my back, left wrist, neck, and chin. I was able to smash 2 of the insects. One of them was full of blood. The room itself was spacious and appeared clean. But the rug was worn and stained with spill marks. Also the clock-radio's alarm went off at 12am, despite the alarm button being in the off position. The hotel is located in a mixed industrial/residential area. Three taquerias (taco shops) and one diner are within a 10 minute walk from the place. A cafe is right next door selling coffee to go. In the streets behind the hotel, there were day laborers standing around waiting for work.
