Cute place but outdated. Not worth the price. The location was nice, we were able to walk to the coastal path. The furniture is stained and doors and windows don't open and close very well. Breakfast buffet was okay with well cooked eggs and pancakes. Gluten free bagels were available.

The photos are SO deceiving. This place is in dire need of some renovations. Dirty, stuffy, stained linens (gross) and moldy shower, sliding door hard to open and holes in screen door. The grounds are not kept well at all. We stayed on the first floor and were awakened by our neighbors upstairs at 3am doing the dirty and then stomping around at 5am. Terrible experience. Staff was not friendly, did not even ask how our stay was when checking out. Not worth nearly 300 a night at all!

Let's start with the good parts. The location is great - very close to the beautiful beach and downtown Pacific Grove. There was ample covered parking and it was quiet at night. The breakfast was decent in the morning - nice people working there. Now the bad - the room and stay were very disappointing. The carpet was filthy, the shower either ran very hot (burned my wife) or very cold, and there were ants and bugs in the room. The bed and linens were very old and outdated. The room desperately needs painting and upkeep. The staff was not very accommodating and very stringent on towel use. The hot tub was closed with no indication when it would reopen. Please note - I did not complain to hotel staff, as I didn't want to spend the time during our stay dealing with questions and maintenance requests. We still enjoyed our time in Pacific Grove, but I would not recommend staying at this location.
