The Good: The room was relatively clean and the office staff wasn't rude. The Bad: What a disappointment! Tucked all the way in the back of the property, the room was a Frankenstein's monster of mismatched tiles, pealing paint, old hardware and rickety furniture. The TV's image was more "snow" than picture. The TV remote didn't work. The bed coverings were horribly worn. There was no phone in the room! And the only two outlets were on the far side of the room, completely occupied by a microwave, fridge, and TV. If I hadn't been so exhausted, I would have turned around and demanded my money back. And the room wasn't even worth HALF of the $112 I paid! Recommendation: Go two blocks north on Broadway and stay at the Travelodge. For $10 more per night you get a magnificent clean and classy room at a 3 star motel. That's what I did!

So much to say: The website photos are NOT realistic. First, I got to reception after hours so I rang the bell for service. Waited a few minutes. Nothing. Rang the bell again. Waited. Nothing. Knocked on the window. Waited. The dude watching me the whole time outside his motel room walked into the office and waited for me to talk. He watched me for 8 minutes while he smoked. He was rude to say the least. I should have turned away when my room had a cardboard number. I was tired so I stayed. Thankfully I had my own sleeping bag and pillow. Aside from the absolute ugliness of the room, it was dirty. After a shower, I walked to the bed and my feet got dirty. The bathtub had a whole in it so who knows what water damage is occurring. The sink was cracked and even with both spigots open, the water was a trickle. The electrical situation was undoubtedly not up to code. Other “guests” are likely drug addicts, prostitutes, or criminals. Sketchy area. I stayed only 1 of the 2 nights I sadly paid for (non refundable). If you plan to stay at the disgusting place, look at the room before our commit. Pics are worth 1000 words…see photos. I was only allowed to upload 10 but I have heaps more.

Makes Motel 6 look like the Hilton. Place dirty, microwave didn't work, no coffee maker, 1 bar of soap for 2 people, worn out towels, obscure brand of shampoo which didn't lather, no hair dryer, had to unplug fridge or microwave to use electric shaver, sketchy clientele in the parking lot, complimentary breakfast consisted of coffee and a 3 day old danish. Yet all the travel sites give this 2 or 3 star rating....Really In a word ...AVOID!!!
