Comfort Inn Santa Maria

Wir haben eine 3-wöchige Tour mit 2 Harleys durch die USA gemacht. Das Hotel hat seit Februar 2026 ein neues Management, das sich sehr viel Mühe gibt. Dieses ist das beste Hotel, dass wir in den drei Wochen hatten Alles ist top sauber und das Personal ist sehr höflich und zuvorkommend Es ist so gut, dass wir unseren Aufenthalt hier jetzt zum zweiten Mal verlängert haben. Falls jemand in diese Gegend kommen sollte, nehmt dieses Hotel, es gibt kein Besseres! We took a 3-week tour through the U.S. on 2 Harleys. The hotel has had new management since February 2026, and they’re really going above and beyond. This is the best hotel we’ve stayed at during those three weeks. Everything is spotlessly clean, and the staff is very polite and accommodating. It’s so good that we’ve now extended our stay here for the second time. If anyone happens to be in this area, stay at this hotel—there’s no better one!

The price was high (nearly $200) for the quality of the hotel. At the price and based on pictures online, I expected things to be in better condition. One of the chairs was sunken-in, some of the metal fixtures in the bathroom were rusty, the toilet seat was loose, the light in the bathroom ceiling fan flickered dramatically after the light was on for a while, the bathroom mirror was attached in a crooked position, the pillows were thick and hard. These are things that are repairable but haven't been. The room was very small, and the shower head came straight out of the ceiling, so it was difficult to shower without getting my hair wet. Main Street is also a highway, and a fair mount of traffic and semi-trucks were driving on it until 11pm at night. On the positive, it was easy to find off the freeway, the large pictures on the walls helped the room to feel bigger, and the clerk who checked me in was very nice. The breakfast was limited, and there were large jugs (juice, milk) for patrons to "pour their own" rather than individual cartons, or a machine that dispenses drinks, so I didn't feel comfortable consuming it. Disappointed overall.

I made a reservation on booking.com nonrefundable and then found out my husband gave me the wrong dates. The manager worked with me to get a full refund, very much appreciated hishelp, would recommend booking there just because of the attitude there of the manager.
