We will never go there again! They hosted a wedding in the patio and our room was directly above on the 2nd floor, in room 230. The wedding, using a loud P.A. system, started at 4:30 pm. and continued with loud music until after 11:00 pm. I tried to call the front desk two times, at 10:45 pm, with the room phone and the line was busy each time. I then used my cell phone and got thru to a ride guy that said, "Oh, it should be stopping soon!" When I told him we needed to wake up at 2:45 am, to get to the airport, he was not concerned at all. When the music stopped then we had to listen to staff testing down tables and chairs, etc. Upon checking out, the woman said, "Well we had signs up that said we were hosting various events (the wedding and a 70- year high school reunion). I stated that they could have told guests about the loud music that was vibrating the windows in our room during every song. She asked if I would like the manager's number, which turned out to be the Director of Sales number. I called it after returning home and ofcourse got voice mail. I left this same message, stating that I would give a negative review if they did not call back. So, here it is. The bright side of the stay was the afternoon receptionist was very friendly and Ralph gave a great haircut in the barbershop. One star for each of them!

We were disappointed with our experience with the hotel’s reservation policy. The hotel was advertised on sites such as Expedia as a local hotel in the San Luis Obispo area, but they are located 40 minutes away. This discrepancy ultimately resulted in us being charged for a night we did not stay. I understand that I should have paid closer attention when making the reservation, and I take responsibility for that mistake. However, after bringing the situation to the attention of the hotel’s management staff and explaining the circumstances, they still chose to charge us for the unused night rather than work with us on a reasonable resolution. Mistakes happen, but how a business handles them says a lot. In this case, I was not impressed with the management or their willingness to work with a customer.

Terrible! It was dirtier than my college frat house. Stained, worn torn furniture, peeling walls, dirty curtains, gross stuff in tub I could go on for ever. It’s a shame. Have they never heard of a refresh?
