We booked the hotel as we planned to do the 17 mile drive and did not want to drive too far after the trip. The hotel is in Bavarian style and located at walking distance of shops and restaurants. The hotel offers free parking and has a heated pool. Rooms are ok and clean. The only thing that bothered us, is that there is no breakfast room and we needed to take the food to our room to eat. It was also very limited in choice. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful.

When I write a review, I like to think of doing a compliment sandwich, but in this case the bread will be VERY thin. So here goes: Bed: comfortable. Shower: Good water pressure. Now here's the meat: Absolutly inadequate place for the price. Literally no better than a dive in the middle of the desert. Outdated, to the point of being laughable - I mean a 1985 faded poster of Sunset magazine cover? Faded prints that remain crooked on the wall. Armoire doors that don't stay open. And just look at the photo of the hardware on the armoire. Hilarious... if it wasn't so sad. Nicked and tired furniture. A bedspread that I certainly wouldn't want to use a blacklight on. Scary holes under the sink vanity in the bathroom. Towels big enough to dry one side of your body... We did not do breakfast because we were kind of afraid to, as the lobby is so outdated and garish it felt weird to go down there. I don't make it a point to give a bad review, BUT for over $300 dollars a night you certainly expect more. WAY MORE. So sadly I would never recommend, staying there. EVER. Okay... I say a compliment sandwich. Morning coffee was drinkable.

This hotel is in an amazing location. It’s walking distance to shops restaurants and the beach. The staff is very nice. That being said, it needs updating. The carpet in the room was rippled, the bathroom had vinyl floor and an old tile shower stall. Everything was clean but for the price it really needs a little tlc.
