We are very happy with our stay here.
We got two queen beds accessible room. It’s spacious, very clean and neat.
The toilet has installed a seat riser which my husband (who is 6’8”) really appreciates it!
They use thick plush towels and nice beddings which I really appreciate it!
Great location, about half a mile away from downtown. I walked to most of the restaurants and stores and enjoyed it.
Very friendly and helpful front desk staffs.
They don’t serve breakfast here which is fine. There are plenty great breakfast places. My favorites are The Dutchess and Three birds cafe.

I agree with the recent reviews that the rooms are clean and the office staff helpful and nice, but de4spite its name, it is a motel, plain and simple, at a cost of over $200 per night.
Mind you, I have nothing against motels, but the Casa Ojai Inn is neither a "casa" nor "inn", offering not much quaint or special as its name would seem to imply, such as a view of the mountains surrounding Ojai. A basic bedroom which looks larger than it is due to the use of mirrors covering the entire back wall, opening directly onto the parking like a motel. No fireplace and no breakfast brought freshly made directly to the room like we just had in Cambria for the same price, along with a view of the Pacific. Instead of a concrete parking lot.
No carpeting, only a tiled floor which would be okay were it not that with no rug or padding on the floors, you can hear other guests walking in the room above if you have a ground floor room at $40 more per night than the second floor. Small bathroom with only a toilet and bathtub/shower, not even room on the floor for a wastebasket, although there is a small motel-like (sorry for that again) window which lets in light and opens for fresh air. But only one large bath towel and one wash cloth per person with no face/hand towels and no extras other than one additional wash cloth and no daily housekeeping providing fresh ones. No one told us until we asked, that the rooms are cleaned during each stay only every three days.
A nice flat screen TV, but with no cable, only streaming channels offering lots of choices Including Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Hulu, but no national news stations like CNN, MSNOW, PBS or even Fox. Two padded armchairs next to a low round cocktail table holding a plastic ice bucket without even a top. No overhead light in the bedroom and the room is dark even though there is a large window, but it is covered with shutters providing privacy from the parking in front of the ground floor rooms. It is hard to see what is in the armoire or on the shelf’s above the mini-refrigerator although the room does have 2 table lamps, 1 desk lamp, 1 floor lamp, and a clearstory light above the armoire, plus a floor lamp,
Complimentary are two bottles of water which you can replace from the office refrigerator, but only once per day, Also, two 2 ounce bags of trail mix, but only provided once per stay no matter the length. A Kurig coffee maker but poor quality coffee pods in the room with better 8 O’clock, Tully’s and a refillable Peet’s pod available in the office after 7AM. Almost a mile walk to the restaurants and shops in town on a sidewalk which is not paved in two short places becoming a dirt path with ruts filled with water if it has rained recently. Loaner bikes, but I would not try and ride one on the road into town which is only 2 lanes with a lot of fast traffic. Nice looking hot tub and pool, but it was not swimming weather and anyway we prefer freshwater swimming pools over saltwater. As I said, a motel, not cheap, but clean. I thought you might want to know what to expect.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful experience. The location is incredibly convenient—just a short distance from downtown, making it easy to explore the area while still enjoying a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere.
The hotel itself is very clean and well maintained, and the overall ambiance is calm and quiet. My room was spacious, comfortable, and spotless. I especially appreciated the large armoire in the guestroom that housed an LCD TV with entertainment provided by DirecTV, which was a nice touch for relaxing in the evenings.
The staff were friendly, responsive, and genuinely welcoming throughout my stay. Their service made the experience even better, as they were always ready to help with anything I needed.
The amenities were also great. The outdoor swimming pool and hot tub were perfect for unwinding, and I loved that the hotel is pet-friendly. One of the highlights was that they provide bicycles for guests, which made it easy and fun to explore Ojai.
Overall, this hotel offers excellent value for everything it provides—clean and spacious rooms, a quiet and relaxing environment, great amenities, and a fantastic location close to downtown. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
