The hotel and location are fine but I must have been given one of the worst rooms. Outdoor second story lights are shining like sun into my room at night. I can’t sleep. The curtains have a huge gap at the top letting light in. The young employee who checked me into the hotel was unwelcoming. He put me on the second floor and said the stairs were “down that way.” As an eighty-three year old woman I had to hike my suitcase up a twisted rickety metal staircase to get to the second-floor room. I don’t ask people for help, but the failure of the young man to offer to help an elderly woman at night to get to the second floor with a suitcase was inexcusable. I haven’t given up yet. After 2 nights I’m going to ask at the desk in the morning for a different room for my next 2 already paid for nights. It’s midweek -Wednesday-not a crowded weekend so I’m hoping they’ll accommodate me as the hotel seems nice. I just got the wrong room and the wrong employee.

We've stayed here for a second time now, still very happy with it. Microwave and fridge in the room, GOOD wifi, there's a hot tub (which we didn't use), room somewhat more spacious than some motels. Good service. Would stay here again. GOOD VALUE.

This hotel was good in some ways but quite bad in others. I'll give the cons first: weekend price was exorbitant for the quality. I paid $309 for Saturday night. I've stayed in way nicer places for much less. The hotel is located on the intersection of two main arteries. The traffic noise level was incredibly bad with many drivers who rev their engines or drive suped up motorcycles. We could barely stand the noise with the windows closed. There was no screen on the main window so we couldn't keep it open anyway because of mosquitoes and flies and kitchen smells from the restaurant next door. There was only one chair in the room. The parking lot in the annex was full in the evening when the adjacent restaurant was busy. Pros: Good location for restaurants in walking distance, and easy to get to the beach. Very comfortable bed - better than many hotels I've stayed in. Quiet refrigerator, Keurig, microwave - all functioning. We were in the annex and the room was modernized maybe 20 years ago, but was very clean and felt new enough. Good shower & toilet. This is a two-star level hotel which is fine if loud street noise doesn't bother you.
