Super 8 Santa Cruz/Beach/Boardwalk West

I am a Wyndham rewards member about to dissolve my loyalty. The prev night we stayed at a Wyndham property that had a parking problem of no spaces available. This property has a huge parking problem also. We arrived and found only one available spot after we checked in. The attendant spoke almost no English. I asked about parking as we wanted to go out to dinner and I feared no space when I came back. The attendant said there was plenty of parking. I walked around the lot, there was not. I had a full size rental car, there were only two spots aside from the one I was in and when I left to go out it'd surely be taken. The two spots were too narrow for me to get in. After protesting the attendant offered me to illegally park in the handicap spot? Are you kidding me? That same thing happened to me the night before at another Wyndham property. As if that wasn't enough, I had to try 4 sets of key cards that would not open the room, so he directed me to another room which did open with the first set of keys. SO my complaint is NOT AMPLE PARKING. We opted to not take the risk and I decided to cancel my reservation and demand a refund. If I'm paying $137 and burning Wyndham points I expect to park my car if I go out. We went to a non Wyndham property, paid $20 more but it was worth it, they had much ample parking and very nice rooms. The upside to this Super 8 is the rooms did look clean, were fresh and nice but what good is that if no parking?

Stains on sheets, very run down. Pool dirty. Just a nasty hotel. Room dingy and hardly any towels. Television barely worked. Mattress sags. Would not recommend this establishment unless you want a subpar experience.

The room was gross snd dirty. You couldn't walk on the floor without getting crap all over your feet. The sheets had stains, we had no towels, no toilet paper and they wouldn't give us an extra blanket. There was no cream or sugar for the coffee in the room and there were pee stains in the toilet. It was supposed to come with breakfast and again, nothing. I will never stay here again nor would I ever suggest anyone stay here either.
