Holiday Inn Select Fairfield-Napa Valley Area

Very clean and comfortable. Great staff except a Latina female I believe her name is Vasquez, very rude and no customer service at all whatsoever she acted as if she didn’t even want to be at work. Other than her my experience was lovely.

Shower never got hot barely room temp. Bathroom had hair all over that didn’t belong to myself or my partner. AC issues. Room was cold but struggled to get warm. Other than that it was alright. Staff is always nice.

We have stayed at this property in the past and while there was some construction during that stay we had a satisfactory experience. Not so this time. Several things in our room were not working and never taken care of during our 5 night stay. The pull out sofa did not have a mattress so when we tried just to sit the cushion would collapse into the sofa. We tried to call down to the front desk but our phone wasn’t working. We reported both issues several times but it was never fixed. We ended up stuffing a blanket where the mattress should have been so we could sit. The phone was never fixed and on our last night someone was banging loudly on doors in the hallway but we couldn’t report it. Actual made us a little nervous. Our room was not refreshed on day 2 as promised so we asked they just do it on day 3. Despite our telling the front desk twice (and seeing them contact housekeeping) it was not done. There was a baseball so some sort so we had lots of coached and ball players the entire week. On day 3 some of them apparently broke the sprinkler system and flooded the entire first floor including the exercise room which had to be closed for the remainder of the trip. Management also closed the pool so that wasn’t an option either. The only reason we gave them 2 stars instead of one was the front desk associates were very good and tried to make the best of a bad situation. Also Li in the restaurant and Antonio tried to make things better whenever they could. Several other choices in the area so I cannot recommend this property.
