Blue Lake at the Heavenly Village

Nice place, good location. Always love a pool at these places but there was none. Would be great to have a little pantry to buy drinks and snacks. The air conditioner was wonderful, option for always on fan.... love love this! Giant sized room, great TV, nice view.

This hotel is in a great location and offers free parking. The staff were absolutely welcoming and kind. Yes, the room decor is outdated just like every motel/hotel in the area but it is clean and meets your needs. We had a 2 Queen room and the bed was pretty saggy when I sat on it but turned out to be fine for sleeping. The sheets are rough. I had my own so I slept well. The room had a small microwave and fridge. The ice machine is easy to get ice from. There is a water refill station in the office. They no longer offer breakfast but there are local spots and Starbucks at Heavenly across the street. Walking distance to casinos, Heavenly, golf course, and private beach. Ask for the beach pass at check in. The pool/spa is closed at this time and our room looked directly out to the pool. It is covered but stagnant, dirty water is on top. We came back to find a racoon bathing. 😆

My husband & I have been staying at the Bluelake Inn every time we see a concert at the lake for the past few years. They always increase the prices when there's concerts, which is expected for the little motels close to the venue as it's walking distance to everything. It's the perfect little spot for an overnight stay. It has air conditioning for those warmer summer nights at the lake. We always try to get the King Suite w/ Jacuzzi for a little extra space, and were successful this last time. The bed is comfortable, and the bathroom is clean. While we don't have a need for the pool on our quick trips up there, we've yet to see that actually open as an FYI for people looking for that. The staff is always very friendly and we'll definitely be back.
