Embassy Suites Lake Tahoe - Hotel & Ski Resort

We stayed for six nights-combo business and pleasure. Mostly really good things to stay about this very nice property: * Location Location Location! Best part! * Coffee was very good and available at 6 a.m. * Being able to easily grab e-bikes right there was terrific. * While it is definitely a souped up Embassy Suites, it was clean, very nicely done and housekeeping, while very “light” -no special touches was dependable and good! * Yes the Valet is expensive but they had plenty of help and no long waits while we were there. * JWB bar was good and really good service from Ann-great banana cream pie! * The reason we know JWB bar is good because we went to Landshark for an early night cap and no bartender ever came out even when we asked the server where he/she was. Weird place- it should be hopping in the evenings but it was dead all 6 nights with the exception of a private event. * Joe merchant overall good but really weird that they stop serving the ice cream at 8 p.m. when everyone is getting out of dinner! Seems like a missed opportunity. No wonder the ice cream sandwich place down the road is PACKED every night! * Breakfast was good -nothing spectacular but good service! Nice people. Lots of good buffet choices. * The nice manager got me some half and half late the first night we got there :) I was not happy that someone in a leadership position made the decision to put powdered milk in the rooms. Yuck. Us east coasters are up at 5 a.m. to work-we need a good coffee early! Maybe sell half and half at Joe Merchants… * Pool is eh-we had no desire to go in it-it’s still the embassy suites indoor pool. Hard to think of this as a resort if there is no outdoor pool area to enjoy. * Plastic cups and no drink menu at the lobby bar and it was closed 3 of 6 nights. * Great musicians in the lobby on Thursday and Friday night! * It’s actually much bigger than the photos online make it seem. The lobby area/Come Monday Cafe. * Annoying to have to log into wifi every single morning. Margaritaville got most of the important stuff right-thanks for a good week in the most beautiful location!

What an amazing hotel! With the vibrant colors and excellent customer service, the hotel excelled in everything! Loved the vallet service, and the front desk staff, they have an excellent team on hand.

We had a wonderful stay! The hotel was clean, comfortable, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. The location was great, and everything exceeded our expectations. We would definitely stay here again!
