The Lodge At Lake Tahoe

Located near downtown South Lake Tahoe, the property is on a very busy street resulting in constant noise. A centrally located pool is well maintained, but adds to the noise level, which often extends past 10pm. The units have no air conditioning, but did have a box fan which helped at night, but your have to have your windows open which allows more noise in. There are lots of barbecues around the property. Shipping is within a reasonable walking distance. There are many eateries and entertainment venues nearby, but parking is either scarce or expensive. Visiting the beach is also expensive, with even ones on Forest Service land charging a minimum of $10 to park. America the Beautiful passes not accepted. If you’re looking for gambling or an urban experience, it might be your cup of tea, but we spent most of our time over the hill in Carson City, Virginia City and a wonderful experience in the ghost town of Bodie CA.

The location is great, only a few minutes away from the California lodge at Heavenly as well as Heavenly village. Restaurants and shops are very accessible.

The place is nice and clean rooms are big and clean, it was very disappointing that the rooms didn’t have ac it was very hot and all they provided us with were some fans which it was not enough, the WiFi was the worse it was super slow the front desk seemed upset when you have to call them and ask them to restock your room with new towels and toilet paper, poor tv channels. The location is great and very walkable.
