Zero stars. The demographics looked like straight out of "Boyz N the Hood," "Menace II Society," and "American Me." Homelessness, families living there, lots of pets, children running around, folding tables set up in the back where people were lounging, and lots of shady activity. I booked through Expedia, which is usually reliable. I suspect that an AI chatbot is writing the information for Expedia, since most reviews were 10/10. Additionally, I wrote this same review on Expedia, and it will not let me post. I keep receiving an email that states that I need to remove pricing, profanity, or personal information. Where are these three in this review? Expedia won't post my review. I drove in, drove out, and canceled my room. Stay away from this place.

This Vagabond Inn property delivers standard budget-motel basics but active police patrols, street food vendors at night and some maintenance issues may blight your guest experience. What worked well • The check in was straightforward and they didn’t charge me a security deposit. • Front desk area felt reasonably secure with multiple camera monitors visible. • The room was clean and basic with two queen beds, a desk, plastic chair, flat-screen TV, vanity mirror, wood vinyl flooring, clothing and luggage rack. • Bathroom was simple and functional with a walk-in shower, a curtain and grab bars. There is a standard sink with basic toiletries and fresh towels. • Property has ample parking space, an outdoor pool, on site laundry room, ice and vending machines. • Convenient location next to a McDonald’s, Denny’s restaurant and chevron gas station. Things to Note • They don’t have a microwave and refrigerator in the rooms. • $0.50 is required to dispense ice from the ice machine. Also one of the ice machines was out of order. • When I arrived at night there was a police car driving around the parking lot. Also the front desk had prominent multi-camera surveillance setup behind it. Not necessarily a problem, but it did stand out. • Street vendors and a food tent set up along the outer sidewalk perimeter at night when I arrived. • Not easily accessible by public transit. Bottom line If you’re looking for an inexpensive, clean place to sleep with a pool and parking, this Vagabond Inn does the job.

My girlfriend and I checkedin late a few days ago and Victoria at the front desk was real nice and helpful. Housekeeping was friendly , and I would come back and recommend it to my friends. Close to the freeway so it’s easy to travel around the area too
