CROWNE PLAZA HOTEL OAKLAND SOUTH-UNION CITY

I had the wonderful opportunity to stay at this beautiful hotel (Room # 660 from May 26 to May 29) in Union City while I was visiting my family in the local area. My room was cleaned extremely well and the furniture in my room was stunning. I loved the beautiful swimming pool surrounded by a stunning garden and I loved working out in their state-of-the-art fitness center each morning. The breakfast buffet each morning was super delicious and it was a great way to start each morning. The front desk staff members (Stephanie, Tatiana & Chloe) were all very polite, courteous, customer service oriented, respectful and very professional. Stephanie, Tatiana & Chloe from the front desk team all deserve recognition from the senior leadership team at this hotel due to their dedication, commitment and outstanding level of customer service with hotel guests. I have made this hotel my home away from home while visiting Union City due to the amazing location (conveniently located near Highway 880), friendly service and stunning guest rooms.

My car was robbed of over $10,000 while security was there, when I was parked right outside of the front door under a security camera, and my car has an alarm. Tell me how this isn’t an inside job. Manager is never on staff and won’t contact me as requested. More proof that they’re all in on it.

I booked a room for the night, and we were happy when we walked in and saw the room. The bathroom could have used a bit of work the toilet lid didn't match the size of the tank and the toilet didn't flush easily. The air condition system had a funny smell when it was on Heat mode. We ordered Dinner and breakfast both days The steaks were tough, undercooked, too fatty, the scrambled eggs for breakfast were undercooked and way too runny. My steak for dinner didn't come with the correct sides and there was no prior notice that they didn't have those sides it was supposed to come with, My girlfriends' Alfredo sauce was a bit thin almost like it was watered down, and her Salmon was unseasoned. Not really satisfied with any of the meals served, the breakfast buffet wasn't too bad, but the scrambled eggs were also undercooked and too wet. The sign was also unclear when it came to the pricing for the breakfast buffet. It was advertised at a certain price per room but it turned out to be a per person charge.
