Worst hotel/motel experience by far! Spiders and bugs and what looked like rodent feces (?) all over. Non smoking room that smelled EXTREMELY strong like cigarettes (and cigarettes all over the window seal outside). ***Bathroom: tons of dead bugs, live spiders, spider webs, and what looked like rodent feces. Not clean in any way. Multiple “repairs” to room that look like they were done by a child that had never used a tool in their life. ***Bed: literally felt like a thin sheet over a hammock made of metal springs. ZERO padding between the springs and my back. Couldn’t move without the bed making tons of noise. The pillows (even when stacked) still collapsed to the thickness of a folded sheet. It was a long bed with 4 child size pillows. I could feel the bed springs through the stacked pillows on the back of my head. ***Room: literally had to open all windows and the door to air out this room as much as possible for first few hours. So much cigarette smell. Room was very run down with stains everywhere. Multiple unprofessional repairs. ***Vanity area: the sink did not drain at all. Brushed my teeth and sink filled several inches. Woke up in the morning and still there. Washed my face and sink filled to the top and had to turn off water before it overflowed. ***Property: showed up and could hear yelling when I went inside to check in. After checking in drove back to near our room and someone had their door open several doors down aggressively arguing all night.

It had been a long day for me when I finally got to the hotel. Jaden was a friendly face, he got me checked in quickly and answered all my questions. The room was clean and quiet.

We were on a road trip with our dog and stopped for the night at the BW Heritage Inn in Vacaville, CA. It was one of the worst experiences in all of our trips. We thought that Best Western was a quality brand so we trusted booking a room there, Apparently, there was a party in a couple or more rooms; since there was no "quiet hours" policy, there was loud music being played late into the evening as well as loud conversations right outside our room. This constant noise and commotion caused our dog to bark incessantly in response. As a part of the party aftermath, someone vomitted next to my car. In addition, the non-smoking rooms smelled heavily of tobacco use. There were no other available rooms on the ground floor so we were stuck in that room; as a gesture of goodwill, the manager approved a refund of the pet fee (which has not yet been confirmed to our credit card billing). The front desk attendant had only been on the job for 2 days but did a very good job of trying to address our concerns and was extremely apologetic for the inconveniences we experienced. Unfortunately, his good intentions did not convert into tangible results. Overall, we would rate our experience at less than 1 star if we could and recommend that no one ever stay there if you want a restful night's rest.
