This place was a surprise... I had to book last minute and it was the less expensive than other options so I gave it a shot, and I was so pleased! First of all, there is no beating the location... I walked 2 blocks to the pier every morning to get my coffee and watch the surfers... try doing that anywhere else for the price. You'd think it would be noisy on Washington Blvd., but the sound proofing is actually pretty good.. and it is super nice to have a balcony with a sliding glass door you can actually open to get the breeze at night! The room was a nice size, too. The only drawbacks: 1. TV is cable-only, so you can't use it for streaming (which the kind of retro experience I could live without), and 2. They charge a small fortune to park your car, which didn't matter to me because I didn't have one. I will be back!

The room is amazing! High quality. You have to pay 38 dollars to park your car in their garage, but it is something they tell you beforehand.

Hotel very close to Venice Beach and consequently very close to the boardwalk that connects it to Santa Monica. The hotel has paid parking on the ground floor for about $40 per night. Beautiful, spacious room with a wooden ceiling, equipped with a TV, fridge, and coffee machine with cups. Bathroom area could be improved a bit due to the tub with a curtain and the toilet with a swinging door that is a bit inconvenient/unnecessary. Nice view from the small balcony. I enjoyed exchanging a few words with the receptionist; I also remember that the reception is open 24/7. The various phone charging facilities in the room are convenient. I was also pleasantly surprised by the incredible comfort of the queen bed we had ❤️ Recommended hotel!
