Ambassador Hotel Victorville

Terrible experience. I had booked accommodation with breakfast included through Booking, and it was clearly indicated on the voucher. The hotel refused to provide us with breakfast, despite the immediate intervention of Booking as well. I had to pay 79 dollars for a service that was already clearly included. Absurd. The front desk could not print a copy of the receipt attesting to the payment for breakfast, nor could they send me an email. Only after my firm insistence did they have another office print the copy. The ice machine was not working. Front desk staff not courteous. DO NOT GO THERE. disastrous experience

Alferado, the African American front desk manager is so unwelcoming and cold. He gave me a room with 2 king size beds without telling me what kind of room he is giving me and when I saw my room and asked him to give me a one king size bed room he said we are booked while I heard him talking on the phone to a guest saying we have many rooms available. Don’t come here, you get so disappointed and unwelcome.

Rosalie at front desk verbally disrespected my husband. Tried to flirt with him while I was at pool and when he rejected her she refused him to have a "free water gift" that was intended for IHG members (which we are). She then escalated the situation and called the cops on him for stealing the free water gift. Horrible way to treat a guest or a black man in general. We were then kicked out and had the cops come to ensure we left within 1 hour .........for taking a free water. Tried complaining to management for months and never got a response. Disgusting behavior and we will never return.
