This place is expensive, but worth it if you're primary goal is location deep in Yosemite Valley.

Cottages very old. Mattress horrendous. WiFi does not reach. Only portable AC which doesn’t really work in Summer when needed. Bathrooms need upgrading and cleaning. Could be the best hotel ever (because of location) but they spend no money to make it so. Only Positive is the concierge Michelle (I think is her name) and the views are great.

We had high expectations given the price of approximately $1,100 per night, but unfortunately the experience did not justify the cost. The room was spacious and comfortable, but it felt quite dated and in need of a refresh. While cleanliness wasn’t an issue, the furnishings and décor gave the impression that the property has not kept up with the standards expected at this price point. Dining was the biggest disappointment. The only dinner option was a prix fixe restaurant, which offered very little flexibility. We opted to eat in the bar instead, but the menu was extremely limited and uninspiring. Even the dishes we selected were poorly prepared and simply not enjoyable. There are certainly positive aspects to the property, but at this price level we expected updated accommodations and much better dining options. Unless significant improvements are made, I would have a difficult time recommending this hotel, as there are many other luxury properties that offer far better value for the money.
