The Borders Lodge by Western Seasons

We have stayed @ Lower Borders for over 40 years. They have a new maintenance supervisor who really has the place dialed in. Pool is immaculate. Everything is in tip top shape! Thx, g

We have stayed here many times. Great location! Spacious and clean rooms and friendly staff. Highly recommend.

RENTER BEWARE! We booked with VAIL MANAGEMENT, the new owners of this facility, for our son’s delayed honeymoon escape. Because of the numerous fires in the region (not their fault), it was necessary to keep all the doors and windows closed and they learned then that there was NO AIR-CONDITIONING in unit 304! Either the owners were too cheap to have it installed or it was broken and they didn’t have it repaired, but the unit was sweltering! The front desk (Hunter) claimed he couldn’t do anything about it and when my son and his pregnant wife said they had to leave early due to the heat of the unit and opening the windows filled the unit with smoke, Hunter claimed there would be NO REFUND FOR THE NIGHTS NOT USED!! This new management company - VAIL MANAGEMENT should be ashamed of their customer service and lack of information provided concerning the units they rent. We’ll be addressing this with the BBB shortly unless VAIL MANAGEMENT follows up with me in the very near future. If VAIL MANAGEMENT makes good on these charges, I will be happy to post a retraction. THE BALL IS IN YOUR COURT VAIL MANAGEMENT.
