One Ski Hill Place A RockResort

We recently stayed at One Hill Ski place during our stay in Breckenridge. I love the location. It was right on the slopes and had a great view. The room was adequate and I found many amenities. It was a 2BR room, somewhat dated but the room was clean and adequate. The issue I have here is the price, I just don’t think it’s worth it. It may not be fair to them, because it just may be the going rate in Breckenridge for the location. However, the price of almost $2k per night plus $200 resort fee is more than I paid to stay in Maui. It factors into my rating and my resort in Maui was 5x nicer. Would I stay here again? Yes I would. It’s just the price for me is not worth what you get.

This was our second time staying at One Ski Hill Place. Previously we stayed here in February 2020 and came back because we liked it so much. The convenience to the slopes and lifts is incredible and a special shoutout to their ski valet service and in particular Marty Cunningham who was so friendly and helpful in dealing with our skis. We again enjoyed the two lane bowling alley with our daughter- make a reservation - and loved the heated indoor and outdoor pools, and while we don’t play pool, they had a pool table, and a media room. I will say that it since the gondola into town closes at 5:00 pm, the bars outside - the T-Bar etc. and the area generally becomes a ghosttown - completely deserted, but that is not the fault of the hotel. There is a shuttle service provided, but otherwise you can Uber it back from town.

One Ski Hill Resort is top notch. From check in to out our door skiing, this place provided everything we needed. The staff, restaurants and the T-Bar were exactly what the doctor ordered. I highly recommend this lodge and we are already planning our trip back for next year. From the easy access to rentals, lessons and the shuttle service to town there is really no other place to stay.
