Tyra Lookout Condominiums by Ski Country Resorts

From the day we arrived to the day we left, we experienced plumbing issues. First it was the screeching showerhead which was replaced the next day. On day 3, it was the kitchen faucet that kept running from 5:30am and wasn't replaced when we checked out. Then, the entire kitchen faucet came apart when we were tried to cook. We couldn't even cook the last day and a half we were there. Granted, management gave us a late check-out at 3pm but UNIT 14 had a lot of issues. I do not recommend staying at this property.

The only positive thing about this place was the location. We rented the 1 bedroom condo that was supposed to fit 4 adults. First of all, this place was crammed. The master bedroom was not well insulated and was much colder than the remainder of the place. The bed was uncomfortable, the sofa bed was awful and my guest ended up putting the mattress on the floor to avoid feeling the metal bar on their back. We ended up cutting our stay short in that condo and went down the street for a much better and more reasonable stay.

Stayed at this condo in early March for a week of skiing. It’s expensive, but we had such a great time, it was well worth it. The Condo is very nice. It’s a four bedroom (two upstairs), two rooms have a Queen in each, and two rooms have two single beds… so enough beds to accommodate 6 to 8 people. No complaints on the mattresses… everyone slept well. Two of the bedrooms offer a TV, and a lot of windows with a great view! There are three full bathrooms… so never a wait. The kitchen and dining area are comfortable. Kitchen is stocked with a nice variety of utensils and cooking ware…. We prepared a few nice dinners with no problem. I did find the living room to be a little small, and the wifi signal was extremely weak, but not a big deal. The ski-in/ski-out is very convenient. Now – this location doesn’t allow you to ski right to the door like some people may expect, but it’s really perfect. The Snowflake ski lift is right across the street from the condo complex. The Condo is on the backside, so it’s a very short walk around to the front, cross the street and up you go. Returning to the condo is even more convenient. The Four O’Clock run goes right past the condo, along the backside, so returning is almost at the door. The only walk is across the rear side parking lot. The Condo complex does offer a common/shared Jacuzzi area, which we used. One is located outside, and two are located indoors. Location to the downtown main street of Breck is a very short walk…. roughly half mile. For grocery shopping you’ll want a vehicle or take the bus service, but everything else is within walking distance. Overall we fully enjoyed our stay here, and I would stay here again!!
