LA QUINTA INN GARDEN OF GODS

The staff here were absolutely terrible the lady was talking on the phone and mumbling to us the whole time, the photos do not match the look of the hotel, the room had dirty bedding and the bathroom was still dirty and the toilet was making noises the whole stay. This is the worst hotels to choose from.

I found the condition of the room to be unacceptable. I documented multiple concerns, including significant staining on the mattress, numerous black spots on the mattress and bedding, and what appeared to be bed bugs consistent with the concerns raised in the reviews. I have attached photos of what I observed. In addition to the condition of the room, I did not feel safe at the property. There were individuals passed out in the stairwell and other concerning activity around the hotel that made me uncomfortable remaining there overnight. Given the condition of the room and my safety concerns, I made the decision to relocate to a different hotel that evening.

The place was filthy inside & out. Homeless people sleeping under the outside stairways. Stains on the bedding covers. Mold on the bathroom ceiling. Dumpster was overflowing and stank. Peeling paint on inside of bathroom door. Plastic wrap on fire alarm. The entire place needed a major power wash. We wouldn't take a shower or eat breakfast there! Unfortunately pre-paid so we didn't move on. The elevator was out of service and appeared to have been for a while.
