Quality Suites Downtown

We enjoyed our stay at the Clarion. It's not close to anything within walking distance, but the free shuttle will take you to certain spots in the Denver area. If you need to travel independently, a car rental company is onsite at the hotel. The hotel is a bit dated, but the furnishings are newer and in decent shape. The pool is nice and the free breakfast buffet is a welcome treat.

This hotel is old, clean and in a good location when you have business downtown. The old elevator is scary, so we took the stairs each time. The house keepers are nice and friendly and the breakfast is superior. It has every entree you could have a taste for. The budget price is good.

i am a choice member so when choosing between this location and the holiday inn nearby, I chose the Clarion Inn. I booked and prepaid. My husband checked in for us. When I arrived, the entire parking lot was dark. When I asked the fron desk about it. She said the "should" come on in a few minutes. I replied, should? She said there's no switch she can just flip and the lights go on. So I guess when it gets dark, the safety and security of your guests is no concern? The front desk personnel responded as if I was making some kind of outrageous request. Then later that night I needed assistance from the front desk and they couldn't find me in the system. Although I had my drivers license and my confirmation number. I assume he was alone because he didn't ask for help from anyone and he obviously had no idea what he was doing. Lastly, I made the reservation through your official website. Somehow, I was diverted for my reservation to be made through a 3rd party. This conveniently making it a challenge to accumulate points and get any kind of refund for a terrible stay. This practice is deceitful. Shame on you choice hotels. Next time I'll choose Holiday Inn.
