Black Bear Lodge

Our condo was very well equipped and efficiently laid out. It was nice to cook breakfast in the condo each morning. It offered covered parking and a very short walk to the lifts. The check in was at the Elevation hotel a couple of buildings away.

We stayed at unit #103, which was large with 3 bedrooms and 3 baths. It had plenty of space for two families. The kitchen was nice, allowing us to make breakfast and snacks. The lifts are a couple of hundred yards. Covered parking.

The four bedroom condo was well appointed and well located but had numerous small things that spoiled the stay. The kitchen sink plumbing leaked. The common-use commode only worked marginally. The windows were very difficult to move up or down. And the deal breaker was the internet would not work,...numerous calls to the management ellicited,.."we've been having troubles",..."we'll reset it",..."keep trying the password". It never worked in three days. If you want the internet you have payed for - Do NOT stay here. It is not a priority with management to provide it.
