Holiday Inn Express Denver-intl Airport

Rooms are very old and outdated. Old appliances, popcorn ceiling, loud AC, and the best part: carpet around the sink! The room was clean though, and didn’t smell terrible. Beds are rock hard and was honestly difficult to sleep on. Even after a long travel day. Breakfast was bleak, and inedible. Wet soggy eggs, greasy thin sausage, and stale potatoes. No fruit in sight. Choose this is you don’t want to sleep in an airport, but otherwise keep looking. 🙃

Exhausted after a long day of traveling and delayed flights - we got in at 10pm, waited 30 minutes in line to check in. We had to leave at 4 am to catch our flight. We finally fell asleep AND SOMONE CAME INTO OUR ROOM at 11:45. We yelled in fear and thankfully the people shut the door instantly. We were just falling back asleep and then the front desk called us and woke us back up! They double booked the room and wanted US to confirm who we were. No sleep for 24 hours - this was just an awful experience. Not to mention everything about this hotel is old and out dated. It’s 50/50 if the elevator breaks down and you get stuck. DO NOT STAY HERE

The airport shuttle is advertised as every 30 minutes but I had to wait nearly an hour for the shuttle to arrive. And the man driving the shuttle nearly denied me because he said that it might be full and priority was given to passengers arriving to the hotel for parking. There was no option when checking in to reserve a seat and it makes no sense for priority to be given to parking guests when i am a paying guest staying at the hotel. I did not want to deal with that at 2am. Had to call the hotel front desk to talk to the driver because he did not speak english. The breakfast was also lackluster. Only breads and cereals. I’ve stayed at similar priced hotels in the area and they provided fruits, hot food options like eggs, etc. There wasn’t even cream cheese for my bagel here… The room was clean enough though I reserved a king size bed but got two queens instead.
