Holiday Inn Select Cherry Creek

We were here with our daughter’s soccer team. We all came to the bar to watch USA vs Belgium World Cup game. The place was packed but they only had one bartender, Jeff. Poor guy was making drinks, serving food and taking complaints like a champ. Not one person came to help him from the hotel. People were complaining about him to front desk but Jeff handled it like pro!!!

Clean, good location, nice room. Parking is weird and poorly marked but it’s inside parking.

I have been to the Aurora/Denver area before but had never stayed at this hotel. I was here specifically for a conference (the conference was also in the same place). The hotel was unassuming, but the lobby was very inviting and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are a bit outdated (very low toilet seat, plastic/cloth shower curtain, low ceiling in spaces), but overall not bad. I like having a mini-fridge in the room especially when traveling. Breakfast & lunch was served by the hotel for the conference for both days which was very good; sometimes that is not the case when it's catered by the hotel service. The outside patio is lovely and the firepit, I am certain, feels amazing in the cooler months.
