HOWARD JOHNSON INN - DENVER

I reserved a room at the Rodeway Inn via a popular travel company. I arrived there at 10PM and went to check in. The man behind the counter said that they were sold out. I showed him my reservation, and he said, I'm sorry we're sold out. I was alone in a new city at 10PM and asked what I should do, and he said "it's not my problem". So I went went back on the travel site and found the closest/cheapest hotel I could find - which ended up being twice the cost. When I got back home from my weekend in Denver, I saw that the Rodeway billed me anyways. So they denied me service, and then charged me for it. I had never canceled the trip and I arrived before the midnight checkin deadline. They basically double charged for the room. I would not recommend anyone stay there. Don't be persuaded by the cost/location.

Stayed at the Roadway inn for 4 knights and had Ms. Yazmin in the front desk checked me in and can say she is a great customer service she's very pleasant very welcoming hotel rooms are very clean and nice and quite I would recommend this hotel

Rooms dirty, pool closed, security into building broken, room smelled strongly of air freshener or some type of spray, Internet dodgey, breakfast was a plastic container of pre-cooked pancakes or stale English muffins and two types of cereal. Exterior entrances clustered with smokers most of the time. One exterior entrance door had no handle. Check-in person told us it was a $110/nt hotel. We paid $67. No. Just NO.
