We just visited the past 3 nights. We were in room 340 with the view of the Rocky Mountains. I want to tell you this is the best place to stay. We have been traveling all month. If I had to choose. This is number 1 place to stay. The room is very clean and comfortable. The room has everything you need. Microwave, refrigerator, coffee machine, safe, tv and a very comfortable bed. Location is great. Close to everything and the visitor center. Park there and walk the creek side and enjoy dinner at one of there fine restaurants. Poppy’s and Moma Rosa is great. This is a very clam and relaxing place to stay. They offer a breakfast with the room. It is great. The staff running it is fabulous. They keep all hot and other items stocked. They have their own cook also. I can’t say enough about this place. I felt at home and enjoyed it very much. We will return when we can again. By the way. Ask for a room with a balcony. We were able to watch a bull elk for over an hour and later more came. So exciting and enjoyable to watch. Thank you to all the staff for a fabulous stay.

Pros: Clean, well kept hotel with decent complimentary hot breakfast & daily option for housekeeping services provided. Check in and check out was fast and efficient without any hidden charges. Our room # 220) has a balcony with a wonderful view of the mountains. is directly across the breakfast area & main building. Assigned parking is right outside our door… very easy access. Lake Estes is a short walk behind the hotel. Our stay was quiet, peaceful and comfortable. Cons: one of the coin operated dryer tor the laundry is malfunctioning and requires double payment ($ 4 total) to run it twice just to get the job done. - Balcony area has not been cleaned for a while turning off our desire to sit and enjoy.

This hotel was a great home base for our visit to RMNP! The rooms were large and comfortable. We had a refrigerator and a microwave which came in handy for the mornings we left out before the breakfast was available. The free breakfast was great and started at 6:30 which was also great! They even had a water bottle filler station next to the ice. The pool and hot tub were steps from our back door. We had a nice little porch to enjoy the cool evenings. The location was perfect because it's close to everything but at the quiet end of the town. We even had elk resting right beside the parking lot one night! The staff were vey nice and I would certainly stay her again if we visit the area!
