WARNING! This property is "TEMPORARILY CLOSED" according to their website. We booked several months ago for wedding in Estes Park. We did not find out that this B & B was closed until we arrived at the property. It appears it has been closed for several months. We even got a welcome email a couple days before arrival that said, "Your room is all set ant reserved for you!" The owners have not responded to emails and are not answering the phone. It is apparent the message on the phone was from the fall. We were left scrambling to find alternative accommodations on a Friday night around 7pm during the busy season in Estes Park. Luckily, we found a very basic hotel that had one room for the two nights. Our reservation was prepaid, so now we will have to try to figure out how to get a refund.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The innkeeper was very accommodating to my wife’s gluten and dairy allergies- she made some delicious breakfasts just for my wife. Our room was lovely, comfortable and quiet. There is also a nice living room area to hang out and read, play games, etc. We especially loved the hot tub and enjoyed that every day (when we were there it was quite cold out). It’s within walking distance (maybe 1 Mile-ish?) to downtown, so we were also able to enjoy some nice walks.

From the moment you arrive you feel that you are "Home"! We've stayed here for a few days each January the last two years as a way of re-charging the batteries and taking a break from running our family-owned business in Centennial CO. For us, privately and peaceful is want we seek and definately find at The Golden Leaf Inn.
