Super 8 Grand Junction Colorado

This was the least expensive hotel near the airport. You get what you pay for. This hotel is stuck in the 80's. Tiny bathroom with poor lighting, stains on the 80's carpet, dry wall crumbling on a corner, paint drips in the tub, and a rack falling off the wall.

I've stayed here before without issue but the room I got this time needed a plumber badly! Plug for the vanity sink would not release as the release rod was unconnected. The toilet ran several times each hour so water was leaking somewhere in the toilet. Unfortunately I waited until 11 pm for my shower because I could not get the water in the shower to get hot. The sink would get hot. It was too late to ask for another room so I took a sponge bath and complained to the desk in the morning. The did give me an additional discount for my trouble. I am a military vet and I appreciated the veteran parking places next to the front door! I'll likely stay there again but I will check out the shower as soon as I get into the room.

We had to change rooms twice: water in the sink did not drain in first room; air conditioner and fridge were not working in second room. This is a very run down hotel and would not recommend to anybody. Breakfast was absolut bare minimum!
