Lakewood Inn

I have to say this is probably one of the worst hotels I've ever been to. Took a shower and went to dry off and the towels were completely wet already. Pretty gross Im not sure if they were clean or just previously used and folded back up. To make things worse, the next day at 8am when I went down to the "free breakfast." I first thought they hadn't set up because the fridge was empty, a couple empty food racks, the counters were all empty, and then 1 tray with 4 pastries on it. The person at the front saw me looking around and asked if I needed help finding anything. I said I was looking for breakfast. She said they have pastries, juice, and coffee only. I would say at this point dont even offer breakfast. I've been to several days inn before and they've always had a variety of fruit, yogurt, cereal, oatmeal, sometimes even hot foods. But this really was the most disappointing "breakfast" I've ever seen.

The owner of this place they’re ripoff. They ripoff customers and employees as well ! They overwork people n cut almost of all peoples paychecks to cover room they check out with bal ! They do some illegal shuff to overcharge people

Do not do not do not stay here!!!! Save yourself the money and the trouble. When we checked in our room smelled very strongly and distinctly of cigarette smoke, along with several people smoking cigarettes and weed right outside of their rooms and the main entrance. Not to mention all of the people loitering around, sitting in cars outside, etc. We cancelled our reservation almost immediately after arriving (we went in the room did not get in the bed, unpack our bags, or even use the restroom). The person at the front desk told us that the manager would be in the following morning to approve our refund request, but days passed and nothing. After calling and emailing many times, I have been given the run around and the manger refuses to speak with me or address the situation. We have received no money back even though the refund policy stated that we would only forfeit the cost of the first night. Save yourself the money and the time and avoid this horrible establishment.
