The people here go out of their way to help. Food was excellent, breakfast and lunch. Spent an amazing week, can't wait to go back ! Needed a battery charger, and the desk person was right on it and helped me out. I don't know where else I would have found one. Thanks to everyone there for a great time.

Apesar da boa localização, as instalações e equipamentos do hotel são antigos e com manutenção precária. Exemplo: torneira do chuveiro com mau funcionamento (gira em falso), estofamentos de cadeiras e carpetes antigos e danificados, chuveiros com vazão e aquecimento insuficientes, máquina de chocolate quebrada, instalações elétricas com fios aparentes e soltos, entre outros. Ainda, o serviço de recepção na alta temporada é ineficiente, prestado por jovens que por vezes não compreendem seu papel e abandonam o hóspede diante de problemas criados pela própria deficiência das instalações do hotel. Exemplo: a máquina de trocar notas por moedas da lavanderia ficou sem moedas disponíveis para finalizar a lavagem de roupas. Ao solicitar auxílio para o atendente da recepção, o mesmo disse não poder fazer nada e me aconselhou a sair na rua para encontrar algum local no comércio que pudesse fazer a troca. Também, durante a hospedagem, houve falta de água por aproximadamente 24hs, período no qual não houve qualquer tipo de apoio do hotel para os hóspedes, obrigando inclusive o próprio hóspede a procurar solução utilizando o recipiente de lixo do quarto para buscar água na piscina e despejar no vaso sanitário após seu uso. Despite its good location, the hotel's facilities and equipment are old and poorly maintained. Examples include: a shower faucet that doesn't work properly (it spins in false), old and damaged chair upholstery and carpets, showers with insufficient flow and heating, a broken chocolate machine, electrical installations with exposed and loose wires, among others. Furthermore, the reception service during high season is inefficient, provided by young people who sometimes don't understand their role and abandon the guest when faced with problems caused by the hotel's own deficiencies in the facilities. Example: the coin-exchange machine in the laundry room ran out of coins to finish washing the clothes. When I asked the receptionist for help, he said there was nothing he could do and advised me to go out on the street to find a place in the store where I could exchange the coins. Also, during the stay, there was a water main broke, interrupting the water supply for approximately 24 hours, a period during which there was no support from the hotel for guests, even forcing the guest himself to look for a solution by using the room's trash can to fetch water from the pool and pour it into the toilet after use.

When we booked in for a 2 night stay, we were greeted by John who couldn’t have been more friendly or helpful. The chalet is perfectly located with easy access to the village & the fee bus service into Aspen. The staff made us feel very welcome in the breakfast room & served us the best home cooked breakfast since we’ve been travelling through Colorado. Even though the rooms were outdated, the beds were very comfortable. An enjoyable stay.
