Checked in the evening of 10/1/26, for 3 nights. My first impression was, I was not impressed, just had that ew factor. However, my daughter & I were there, and figured since we had lots planned, would not be in the room much. That first night, about 9:30, I was in the hallway taking a call. A man got off the elevator, he wobbled down the hallway and projectile vomited into the little alcove where the pop machine was, he continued toward his room, and did the same at the end of the hall on the door to the stairwell. DISGUSTING. I went to the check-in desk to let the guy know. He came up with me to see. At 9:00 the next morning it had NOT been cleaned up. Just a towel over the mess by the pop machine. And yea, this was a bath towel that they use for the guests. Besides that, there were still items in the mini fridge from a previous guest, nobody ever came to empty our garbage, ice machine and "vending" pop only on 2 of the floors, (the ice machine on our floor was missing) I had to go down to the check in desk to get a roll of toilet paper, the bathtub did not drain well, took a while for the water in shower to get hot. If you chose to us the stairs rather than elevator, the door locked behind you. There was no getting out of the stairwell on any floor - we ended up walking all the was to the ground floor, opened the door, and we were OUTSIDE. These are just a few of the complaints I have. There was no point in complaining to the "guy at the desk". If they let vomit sit there all night, they're not going to care about anything like slow drains or overflowing waste baskets. It was a convenient location to walk to the state capital, the river walk, the Fall Festival on Pratt street, and several good eating spots. So yea, location was good - that was the only good thing. When we checked out Sunday morning, there was no "How was your stay with us?" They don't care. DO NOT STAY HERE.

I am writing this review as a travel agent following the experience of two of my clients who recently stayed at this hotel. Unfortunately, what should have been a straightforward hotel stay turned into a very disappointing experience, with multiple basic service issues reported by the guests. Among the problems were: The room did not appear to match the standard portrayed in the hotel's photographs. The pillows provided were extremely uncomfortable, and when additional pillows were requested, the guests were told that none were available. They ultimately had to purchase their own pillows. The shower was only producing lukewarm water. This was reported to the hotel but was apparently never resolved. The guests requested clean towels but did not receive them. The room was reportedly not cleaned during their stay. The guests experienced difficulties contacting reception, with the telephone number provided apparently not being valid. Most concerning of all, despite repeated attempts by me, as their travel agent, to contact the hotel and escalate these issues while the guests were staying there, I received no response whatsoever from hotel management. I contacted the hotel specifically to give them an opportunity to address the issues and ensure that my clients were properly looked after. Unfortunately, despite further follow-ups and a formal escalation, there was still no response. Problems can happen in any hotel, and I understand that. What I find particularly disappointing is the apparent lack of urgency in dealing with basic guest requirements and, above all, the complete lack of communication when concerns were raised directly with the hotel by their travel agent. As a travel professional, I need to have confidence in the properties I recommend to my clients. Based on this experience, I would strongly encourage other travellers to carefully consider the recent service standards and level of customer support they can expect before booking. This review is based on the feedback provided to me by my clients and my own documented attempts to obtain assistance from the hotel. I would have much preferred to be writing a positive review, but unfortunately the experience and subsequent lack of response do not allow me to do so.

We booked your hotel via our Scene Points for an overnight stay July 6-7. When we got in nearly midnight of July 6 as we were only transiting from the US to Canada, said you didn't have hot water so your hotel clerk offered to cancel it and said they will revert our points back to us. I called today to follow up and your GM said no. Even if it was an Expedia booking, your hotel had the option to cancel it. You guys have no qualms about billing people and accepting payment for services that you cancelled and did not provide. Honestly, bad service all around.
