Comfort Suites Southington

We enjoyed staying here for one overnight while traveling. The location was perfect, right off I-84. The breakfast was good.

I’ll start with the Positives. Our room was very clean. Our bed was very comfortable. The maid that I spoke to in the morning was very sweet and always took care of our trash and towels. We were always the only ones in the swimming pool which was nice but also a bit strange. Okay, so here we go for the Negatives. It took less than an hour of staying here before my husband and I both realized that prostitution occurs at this hotel. We both saw several things that immediately made us realize this. There is an ATM in this weird little lobby area that we kept seeing very questionable looking females come in and out of rooms and remove money out of. My husband saw a guy at the bar with a female and go up to a room and the next morning he saw that guy was with a different questionable looking female. I saw a sketchy lady come out of the men’s public bathroom crying, see me, and try to run around the corner by the elevator, and hide from me. We are not sure if these people are coming from the travel center truck stop place that is about a block away or where they are coming from but we definitely would never stay here again after all that we saw. The sad thing is that there is no way that the employees here could not know this is happening. It took less than one hour for us to figure it out because it was so obvious. What does a hotel need an ATM in it for? For the safety and peace of mind of you and your family, go somewhere else and stay! I would never write this in a review unless I was sure.

The clock in the room was an hour behind, so that threw me off and made me late to my event. The heating/cooling system roared like a blast furnace and a flashing blue light in the room prevented any chance of a good night's rest.
